Miles Davis: "Kind of Blue"

Louis Armstrong is usually mentioned because he was the first big pop hit as a trumpet player, but I'd much rather listen to Miles Davis, Chet Baker and probably several others.

Miles Davis' entire body of work is unsurpassed by any jazz (or any other) musician as far as I'm concerned; but there is no one easier to listen to than Chet Baker (even if he was a junkie).
